Dr. Dukgyu Kim is a physician with over a decade of clinical experience in dermatology and extensive involvement in the management of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies since 2015. His work focuses on understanding the fundamental causes of aging-related conditions and developing effective therapeutic solutions to advance human health. He has conducted significant research on polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN), including studies on peri-implantitis with Seoul National University, salivary gland regeneration with Yonsei University, and veterinary nutritional supplements and immunotherapeutic agents with Konkuk University. Dr. Kim holds multiple patents on PDRN-based compositions, such as chitosan nanoparticles, eye drops, hydrogels, and formulations for brain disease and osteoblast differentiation. He has published extensively in high-impact journals, exploring PDRN’s roles in wound healing, corneal repair, anticandidal activity, and osteoimmunology. As a recognized expert, he serves as Director of the Korean Society of Dermatologic Laser Surgery and The Korean Association of Chronic Fatigue, and is an active member of several aesthetic, obesity, and vitamin research societies. His primary research interests include PDRN, tissue regeneration, Treg cells, and anti-inflammation, reflecting a dedication to translating innovative research into clinical applications.
