Dr. Abdullah Awad Alazemi earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, USA, in 2017, where he conducted groundbreaking research on friction fundamentals at the microscale for his dissertation. Prior to that, he completed his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Kuwait University in 2009, further developing his expertise in tribology and materials science. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kuwait University in 2006, laying the foundation for his specialization in nanotechnology, lubrication, and advanced material applications.

Dr. Abdullah Awad Alazemi is currently serving as the Director of the Nanotechnology Research Facility at Kuwait University (2019 β Present), where he leads cutting-edge research in nanomaterials, tribology, and advanced mechanical systems. Since 2017, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Kuwait University, contributing to both research and education in the fields of materials science, friction, and lubrication technologies. Before joining Kuwait University, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Mechanical Engineering Tribology Lab at Purdue University, USA (2013 β 2017), where he conducted advanced studies on microscale friction and wear mechanisms. His teaching career began at the College of Technological Studies, PAAET, Kuwait (2010 β 2013), where he served as an Assistant Teacher, mentoring students in mechanical design and engineering fundamentals.
