Assist. Prof. Dr. Tewin Tencomnao is the Head of the Center of Excellence on Natural Products for Neuroprotection and Anti-Ageing at Chulalongkorn University, where he also serves as Assistant Professor in Clinical Chemistry and Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from Virginia Commonwealth University and a B.Sc. in Medical Technology (Honors) from Chulalongkorn University. Dr. Nour-eddine Lazar is a materials scientist specializing in ferroelectric materials, photocatalysis, microbial fuel cells, and environmental chemistry. He earned his Ph.D. in Material Sciences and Environment (2019–2024) from ENSAM – Mohammed V University in Rabat, where his thesis focused on the performance of ferroelectric materials as photocatalysts in microbial fuel cells. He previously completed a Master’s degree in Materials Chemistry (2016–2018) at the Faculty of Sciences, Mohammed V University, working on ammonium sulphate fabrication as fertilizer and the valorisation of rare earth elements in phosphogypsum, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in General Chemistry (2013–2016) focused on physics, chemistry, and leachate treatment using natural adsorbents. Since April 2025, he has been conducting an internship at the University of Hassan II in Mohammedia on fertilizer formulation and analysis, after previously completing over 240 hours of practical teaching at both the University of Hassan II in Mohammedia and ENSAM Rabat. His research experience includes a COST Action project at the Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic (2024), optimizing microbial fuel cell performance through advanced modified electrodes, and a Virtual Mobility internship between Sapienza University of Rome and Mohammed V University (2024) focused on modeling and experimentation of microbial fuel cells with varied volumes. She has revealed critical mechanisms showing that acidification-induced declines in plant diversity are mediated by below-ground community shifts, and demonstrated that soil acidification plays a stronger role than nitrogen availability in regulating soil respiration under long-term N enrichment. Her contributions also include uncovering the drivers of fungal functional group diversity on ecosystem stability, the long-term effects of continuous cropping on soil health, and the differential responses of soil bacteria to N and P additions. Dr. Arriel Makembi Bunkete is a highly qualified nephrologist with advanced expertise in internal medicine, clinical nephrology, dialysis, and renal transplantation, with extensive international clinical and academic experience across mainland France, French Guyana and the Democratic Republic of Congo. He currently serves as Nephrologist and Deputy Renal Transplant Coordinator at the University Hospital Centre of French Guyana (Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni), where he oversees nephrology and transplant care, dialysis programmes, and multidisciplinary team coordination. From 2021 to 2024 he worked at Franck Joly Hospital as Nephrologist and Renal Transplant Coordinator, managing chronic dialysis and transplant pathways. Dr. Anna Klimovich is a PhD candidate in biochemistry with a decade of experience as a research fellow, specializing in the investigation of biologically active compounds derived from marine organisms of the Far Eastern and tropical seas using advanced experimental models of human pathologies in laboratory animals.
