Ms. Richa Jangra is a dedicated Physics researcher currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the National Institute of Technology Delhi, focusing on the design and development of high-performance photodetectors across deep-UV to near-infrared spectral ranges. She completed her M.Sc. in Physics from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University with strong academic performance and research on gamma ray spectroscopy, and earned her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics from Maharshi Dayanand University. Her research primarily involves graphene and rGO-based semiconductor heterostructures, emphasizing optical absorption enhancement, interface engineering, low dark current, high responsivity, and high detectivity in optoelectronic devices. She has published multiple research papers in reputed journals such as IEEE Sensors Journal, Journal of Optics, and Chemical Engineering Journal, along with a book chapter on advanced solid-state devices. Her work also includes innovative heterostructure-based photodetectors with applications in ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared regions. She has received several recognitions, including Best Oral Presentation Awards at international conferences and merit scholarships for academic excellence. She has actively participated in various international and national conferences, presenting her research contributions in photonics, materials science, and applied physics. Additionally, she has attended specialized programs like the Semiconductor High Impact Learning Program to enhance her technical expertise. Her academic journey reflects consistent excellence, innovation, and a strong commitment to advancing optoelectronic and photonic technologies.
