Assist. Prof. Dr. Oluwagbemiga Paul Agboola is an accomplished architectural scholar with a PhD in Architectural Design from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and earlier degrees from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. He is a recipient of the Best Postgraduate Student Award (PhD Excellent Academic Achievement) and holds professional membership with the Association of Architectural Educators in Nigeria, as well as research fellowships in the UK and Europe, including Erasmus+ training in Latvia. His research expertise spans architecture, cultural heritage, sustainable and green architecture, landscape planning, smart environments, and urban–rural development, with a strong focus on AI-driven architectural and urban solutions. He has led and completed major funded research projects in Saudi Arabia on eco-urbanism and sustainable smart city development. Dr. Agboola has extensive teaching experience across architectural design studios, sustainable architecture, urban planning, construction technology, and digital design. He is also a member of the Green Building Council of Nigeria and actively contributes to research, innovation, and international academic collaborations.
