Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elwalid Fadul Nasir has made sustained and impactful contributions to Dental Public Health through over three decades of academic, clinical, and research leadership. His work has advanced oral health epidemiology, behavioral sciences, and health service utilization across diverse populations in Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Norway, and Sweden. He has led and contributed to numerous cross-sectional and population-based studies addressing oral diseases, risk behaviors, quality of life, and health systems performance. With a strong commitment to capacity building, he has mentored students, supported postgraduate program development, and strengthened research culture. His editorial, ethical committee, and international collaborative roles further reflect his influence on evidence-based oral health policy and practice.
