Mr. Vineet Srivastava | Environmental Modeling | Research Excellence Award
Mr. Vineet Srivastava | University of Szeged | Hungary
Mr. Vineet Srivastava is a passionate environmental science researcher specializing in the interaction between sustainable agriculture and climate change, currently pursuing his doctoral studies in Climate Change through Animal Agriculture at the University of Szeged, Hungary. His Ph.D. focuses on estimating ammonia, methane, and nitrous oxide emissions from animal husbandry operations using the advanced photoacoustic spectroscopy method developed at the University of Szeged. He is actively involved in PAS instrument calibration, field sampling, gas estimation, and publication work, contributing to improved understanding of livestock-related emissions and sustainable mitigation strategies. Prior to this, he served as a Junior Research Fellow at CSIR-NEERI, where he contributed to projects under the National Jal Jeevan Mission, working on water quality sensor calibration, rural water monitoring, sampling, analytical assessments, and technical reporting. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science (Environmental Technology) from Banaras Hindu University, where he researched microplastic impacts on soil properties and wheat productivity, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from DDU Gorakhpur University. His training includes IoT-based environmental monitoring, analytical instrumentation for environmental contaminants, and field-based environmental assessments. Vineet has presented his research at international conferences and contributed to peer-reviewed publications, with his work receiving 76 citations, 1 indexed publication, and an h-index of 1. He is a recipient of the prestigious Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship (2024), awarded by the Tempus Public Foundation, and was selected as one of the top 30 candidates from India by the University Grants Commission. He has also qualified the UGC-NET (2022) for eligibility as Assistant Professor in India. Dedicated to advancing sustainable environmental practices, Vineet aims to integrate scientific innovation with practical solutions, aligning personal research goals with broader institutional and global sustainability objectives.
