Prof. Li Wang is an Associate Professor at Dalian Maritime University (DMU) and Head of the Plasma and Catalysis Research Group (PCRG). He holds an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Catalytic Chemistry from Dalian University of Technology (DUT). After gaining research experience at DUT, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Liverpool. Recognized for his contributions, he was awarded the Outstanding Young Scientist of LiaoNing Revitalization Talents (2020) and named among the World’s Top 2% Scientists (2024) by Stanford University. His research focuses on plasma-assisted catalysis, C1 chemistry, and environmental cleanup.

Prof. Li Wang holds a Ph.D. in Catalytic Chemistry from Dalian University of Technology (DUT), where he specialized in developing advanced catalytic processes for sustainable energy and environmental applications. Prior to his doctoral studies, he earned an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from DUT, gaining a strong foundation in chemical process engineering and materials science. His academic background has equipped him with expertise in plasma-assisted catalysis, C1 chemistry, and environmental clean-up technologies, contributing to innovative research in fuel production and emission control.
💼 Experience
Prof. Li Wang is currently an Associate Professor at Dalian Maritime University (DMU), a position he has held since 2018. He also leads the Plasma and Catalysis Research Group (PCRG), where he spearheads innovative research in plasma-assisted catalysis and environmental clean-up technologies. Before joining DMU, he gained international research experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Liverpool, focusing on catalytic chemistry and sustainable energy applications.
