Prof. Ho Cheol Jang MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Hematology-Oncology at Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital, South Korea, with a strong academic and clinical background in internal medicine and hematologic malignancies. He earned his PhD in Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (2024) and completed his MD at Chonnam National University Medical School (2016), followed by residency and fellowship training in Internal Medicine and Hematology-Oncology. His research centers on translational hematology and cancer genomics, integrating next-generation sequencing, molecular diagnostics, and clinicogenomic analysis to better understand disease mechanisms. He focuses on clonal evolution, genomic heterogeneity, biomarker discovery, immune profiling, and treatment-response stratification in hematologic cancers. His work spans multiple diseases, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and acute leukemia, with additional contributions to solid tumors, vaccine immunology, and infectious diseases. Actively engaged in multidisciplinary and international collaborations, he contributes to advancing precision medicine by linking molecular features with clinical outcomes.
