Mrs. Umme Habiba has a strong academic foundation in Information Science and Library Management, earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Dhaka with First Class (2nd position), followed by an M.Phil degree and PhD Fellowship in the same discipline. She has over a decade of teaching experience at reputed universities in Bangladesh and is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Institute of Information Sciences, Noakhali Science and Technology University. Her academic excellence is reflected through multiple scholarships from the Dhaka Board and her department at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has also held key administrative roles, including Acting Librarian, Assistant Proctor, and Student Advisor at Noakhali Science and Technology University. Her professional expertise includes hands-on experience with KOHA library automation software, MARC21 cataloguing standards, OPAC systems, and SPSS for statistical analysis. She remains actively engaged in academic development, library management, and student mentorship within higher education.
