Mr. Seyed Mahdi Mousavi is a PhD candidate in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences (IUMS), based at the School of Health, Hezarjerib Ave., Isfahan, Iran. His research focuses on workplace heat stress, noise exposure, and hazardous occupational agents, with a strong interest in applied occupational health fields that support worker safety and well-being. He has contributed to advancing the use of Multicriteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods in occupational health assessments and risk-management frameworks. He holds an MSc in Occupational Health Engineering from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, where his thesis involved developing software to evaluate permit-to-work systems in process industries, and a BSc in Occupational Health Engineering from Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences. Through his research activities, he has published multiple scientific papers in occupational health, received citations for his work, and maintains an h-index reflecting his academic contributions. His ongoing doctoral research continues to address critical challenges in occupational safety, environmental exposures, and decision-support systems for industrial health management.
