Prof. Longnian Zhou received his bachelor’s degree from Wuhan University and his master’s degree from Fudan University. His research focuses on cerebrovascular diseases and spinal cord disorders, with particular emphasis on Chiari malformation, intracerebral hemorrhage, and spinal cord injury. He has led and participated in multiple competitive projects, including the President’s Fund of Hexi University, Zhangye Science and Technology Projects, and the Gansu University Teachers Innovation Fund, covering nano-material–based diagnostics, surgical prognosis, neuroimaging, and clinical software applications. Prof. Zhou has published extensively in SCI-indexed journals such as World Neurosurgery, Acta Neurochirurgica, BMC Pharmacology and Toxicology, and Journal of Neurorestoratology, contributing influential clinical, bioinformatics, and translational neuroscience research.
