Dr. Xiao Xue obtained his Doctor of Science from Renmin University of China in 2016 and completed post-doctoral research at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has published over 30 SCI-indexed papers, including 16 as first, co-first, or corresponding author in top-tier journals such as Advanced Materials, Green Chemistry (cover), Nature Sustainability, and EcoMat, and holds 12 authorized invention patents, including 6 as first inventor and 1 PCT patent. Dr. Xue has led or participated in more than 10 provincial and ministerial-level research projects, contributing to 1,890 Scopus citations with an h-index of 22. His work has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions Silver Award, and he was admitted as a lifetime Fellow of the International Association of Advanced Materials in 2025. He actively contributes to national science initiatives as an expert in the “Science and Technology Innovation China” program under the China Association for Science and Technology. His research combines innovative materials development with practical applications, driving advancements in sustainability, green chemistry, and advanced functional materials.
