Dr. Cyrielle Bouchez | Mitochondrial Metabolism in cancer | Innovative Research Award

TRIO – Uniklinik Koln, Germany

Dr. Cyrielle Bouchez, a Doctor in Biochemistry since 2020, completed her first post-doctoral work at the IBGC under Dr. Thomas Daubon, studying glioblastoma cell metabolism, collaborating with PhD students which led to two publications. She then joined a research group in Cologne under Prof. Roland Ullrich, investigating immune evasion in SCLC and its metabolic consequences. Currently, she is starting a project on tumor endothelial cell mitochondrial metabolism as a therapeutic target under Dr. Lars Schiffmann. Her expertise spans biochemistry, metabolism, and mitochondrial energetic metabolism, with experience in collaborative research and translational applications. Her work integrates metabolic pathways with cancer biology to identify novel therapeutic strategies. She has contributed significantly to advancing understanding of cancer cell metabolism and its potential clinical applications.
