Mrs. Mona Nazari is a doctoral researcher in Forest Socio-Economic Sciences at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, with a strong academic background in forestry, natural resources, and agricultural engineering. She has completed multiple master’s degrees in European Forestry through the Erasmus Mundus program across Austria and Finland, along with earlier degrees in forestry science and animal production in Iran. Her research focuses on forest ecosystem services, sustainable forest management, and socio-economic aspects of forestry. She has led and contributed to several international projects related to forest policy, ecosystem services, and environmental sustainability. Mona is actively involved in academic coordination and capacity-building programs, including international collaborations with universities in Europe and Africa. She works as a university research staff member and teaching assistant, contributing to both research and education in silviculture and natural resource management. Her experience also includes guest lecturing and supervising academic theses. She has participated in advanced research on plant physiology, forest ecology, and dendroecology across leading European institutions. Additionally, she has prior teaching and professional experience in agricultural sciences and forestry training. Her multidisciplinary expertise integrates ecological research, policy frameworks, and applied forestry practices.
