Prof. Dr. Pradeep Solete | Saveetha Dental College, SIMATS | India
Prof. Dr. Pradeep Solete is a distinguished clinician, researcher, innovator, and academic leader in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, with a Ph.D. (2022–2025) focused on developing advanced engine-driven endodontic retreatment files featuring constant taper, pitch, radial land, and positive rake angle for efficient removal of gutta-percha in complex tooth anatomies. A graduate of Saveetha University with M.D.S. (2011–2014) and B.D.S. (2005–2010), he has pioneered multiple patented technologies including the Solite RS3 Rotary Retreatment Files, a novel bioactive bioceramic sealer, nano-bioactive glass-based intracanal medicament, and nano-filler bulk-fill flowable composites, establishing his registered company, Solite Dental. With expertise in microscopic dentistry, micro-endodontics, endodontic microsurgery, aesthetic restorations, direct and indirect veneering, he serves as Senior Consultant Endodontist at leading dental centers in Chennai. A Lifetime Member of the Indian Endodontic Society, IACDE, CEAT, and Indian Dental Association, he has presented extensively at international platforms including IFEA, IADR, APC, IDA, ADI, and SHOWCASE conferences. His academic influence includes 81 publications, 337 citations across 270 documents, and an h-index of 9, reflecting significant scholarly impact in endodontic retreatment systems, canal morphology, intracanal medicaments, and nano-CT evaluation methodologies. He has earned more than 19 prestigious awards such as the IACDE Rising Star Award, Young Achiever Award, Senior Researcher Award (CEAT), multiple Best Paper and Best Poster recognitions, and excellence awards in academics and clinical practice. As an international and national conference chair, he has led major scientific events across India, Korea, and global dental bodies, while delivering over 18 invited lectures on advanced micro-endodontics, retreatment innovations, ergonomics, and restorative excellence. He has contributed to organizing more than 12 major conferences and conducted over 14 hands-on workshops on rotary endodontics and retreatment protocols, shaping next-generation clinical skills. Through his innovations, academic leadership, and clinical mastery, Prof. Dr. Pradeep Solete continues to advance the global standards of conservative dentistry and endodontic science.
