Prof. Sergey Suchkov | Zelinskii Institute for Organic Chemistry | Russia

Prof. Sergey Suchkov, a distinguished Russian medical scientist born in Astrakhan into a family of physicians, is globally recognized for his pioneering contributions to immunology, pathology, and personalized and precision medicine. He earned his MD from Astrakhan State Medical University in 1980 and Ph.D. from Sechenov University in 1985, followed by advanced training at the NIH (Bethesda, USA), Wills Eye Hospital (Philadelphia), and British universities under the Royal Society for Immunology fellowship. Over four decades, he has held key academic and leadership roles, including Director of the Division for Clinical Immunology & Immunobiotechnology at MONIKI (1994–2006), Vice-President for Personalized and Precision Medicine at the University of World Politics and Law (2006–2014), and Director of the Center for Personalized & Precision Medicine at Sechenov University (2016–2021). Currently, he serves as Professor of Medicine and Immunology and Director of the Center for Biodesign at the N.D. Zelinskii Institute for Organic Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, as well as R&D Director at InMedStar, Russia–UAE. His career reflects extensive global engagement across the USA, Europe, Japan, and the UAE to promote precision healthcare integration. Prof. Suchkov is a Member of numerous prestigious international organizations, including the New York Academy of Sciences, EPMA (Brussels), ISPM (Japan), PMC (Washington), AMEE (Scotland), ACS (Washington, D.C.), AHA (Dallas), and ARVO (Rockville). He has authored over 350 scientific publications, including high-impact papers and book chapters, with more than 5,000 citations and an h-index of 35, reflecting his global influence in translational medicine, immunopathology, and biodesign. His visionary leadership continues to shape the evolution of predictive, preventive, and personalized medicine worldwide.
