Dr. Ivan Simeonov is a Professor of Bioautomatics with a strong engineering background, holding a PhD in Automatics from the Technical University of Sofia and international training at the University of Paris VI and Ecole Supérieure d Electricite. He has held senior academic and leadership roles within the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, including Professor, Head of Research Groups and Departments, and Deputy Director of the Stephan Angeloff Institute of Microbiology.
