Dr. Rana Muhammad Amir Gulzar is a Pakistani plant pathologist with a PhD in Agriculture from Zhejiang University, China, specializing in molecular and functional characterization of calcium channel gene families in Brassica napus. He combines strong agronomic expertise in potato and Brassicaceae crops with hands-on experience in nutrient management, climate adaptation, stress tolerance, and sustainable crop production systems. His professional background spans academia, international agribusiness, and field-based development projects, including roles as a university lecturer, agro field master trainer, project field officer, and agro-officer with PepsiCo.
