Introduction

Academic research contributes to knowledge development through systematic investigation, publication, and scholarly communication. Research profiles provide useful information about an author’s institutional affiliation, subject classification, publications, and citation activity. Kock Lim Tan’s Scopus-indexed record identifies an affiliation with UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College and a subject classification in Management and Accounting. Bibliometric indicators can help describe the visibility of scholarly work, although they should be interpreted alongside research quality, originality, and disciplinary context rather than independently as measures of academic excellence.[1]

Research Profile

Kock Lim Tan’s research profile is associated with UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College, an educational institution in Malaysia. The supplied Scopus author record identifies Management and Accounting as his subject area and reports three indexed documents. The profile also records 39 citations and an h-index of 2, providing a snapshot of publication and citation activity at the time the information was collected. These figures are database-dependent and may change as additional publications and citations are indexed.[1]

Research Contributions

Research contributions in Management and Accounting may involve organizational practices, financial decision-making, management processes, business performance, and related analytical perspectives. Evaluating an individual researcher’s contributions requires consideration of the subjects addressed, methodological approaches, findings, and relevance to existing scholarship. Tan’s indexed research record provides a starting point for examining his scholarly activity. Detailed attribution of particular discoveries, research themes, or practical applications requires verification against the full texts of his publications and their documented findings.[3]

His author profile provides a searchable source for reviewing the indexed publications and their associated citation information.[1]

Research Impact

Citation counts and the h-index are commonly used bibliometric indicators to describe scholarly visibility. The reported 39 citations suggest that publications attributed to Tan have received citations within indexed scholarly literature, while an h-index of 2 indicates that at least two publications have received two or more citations each under the applicable database calculation. Introduction

Research article awards recognize scholarly work that contributes to the development of knowledge through evidence, analysis, and clearly communicated findings. In business research, contributions may concern organizational behavior, management, economics, entrepreneurship, strategy, innovation, or related areas. A balanced assessment considers the research question, methodological choices, reliability of evidence, and significance to academic or professional practice. Bibliometric databases can support an initial review, but their indicators must be interpreted alongside the underlying publications and relevant disciplinary context. [1] [2]

Research Profile

The supplied information associates Yusuf Galip with Pamukkale University in Turkey and identifies Business as the principal subject area for this profile. The stated Scopus author identifier is 59832817900, and the supplied record reports 19 documents, one citation, and an h-index of two. These values are presented as provided and have not been independently verified in this article. Author records can change as publications are indexed, corrected, merged, or reassigned, so current database entries should be consulted when conducting formal evaluation. [1]

Research Contributions

The contribution of a researcher should be established by examining individual publications rather than inferring subject-specific achievements from affiliation or aggregate metrics alone. Relevant considerations include the importance of the research question, suitability of the methods, transparency of analysis, engagement with prior literature, and usefulness of the findings to scholarship or practice. For a business research award, the submitted article should be evaluated against its stated objectives and evidence. Specific contributions by Yusuf Galip require review of the corresponding publications and their full bibliographic records before definitive claims can be made.[2]

The supplied Scopus profile reports 19 documents attributed to the author identifier listed above. A complete publication bibliography, including article titles, co-authors, publication years, journal names, and digital object identifiers, has not been supplied for this page. Accordingly, individual publications are not listed or assigned research findings here. For accurate academic documentation, each record should be checked against the publisher’s version and the relevant indexing database, with corrections made where author attribution or metadata is incomplete. [1]

Research Impact

The supplied bibliometric figures are 19 documents, one citation, and an h-index of two. These measures describe different aspects of an indexed publication record: document counts indicate indexed output, citation counts reflect recorded citations, and the h-index combines publication volume with citation frequency. None of these measures alone establishes originality, methodological quality, societal value, or the overall importance of a particular article. Bibliometric interpretation should account for publication age, disciplinary citation practices, database coverage, and co-authorship patterns. [2] [3]

Award Suitability

The Best Research Article Award may be relevant to researchers whose work demonstrates originality, sound methodology, clear presentation, ethical research practice, and a meaningful contribution to the relevant field. For an assessment involving Yusuf Galip, reviewers should examine the nominated article, publication details, research question, supporting evidence, and relevance to the award category. Final decisions should follow the official rules and documented evaluation process of the International Invention Awards. [4]

Conclusion

The supplied details establish a preliminary bibliographic profile for Yusuf Galip of Pamukkale University, Turkey, with Business identified as the subject area. The reported Scopus indicators offer a limited snapshot of indexed research activity, while a substantive evaluation of article quality requires examination of the underlying scholarly work. Verification of author metadata, publication records, and award requirements is recommended before the profile is used for formal recognition. This article does not represent confirmation that the researcher has received the award or that any specific publication has been selected.[2]

[1]

Keywords

Francis Boadu; Innovative Research Award; Kumasi Technical University; Business Research; Research Innovation; Scholarly Impact; Scopus; Bibliometric Analysis; International Invention Awards; Ghana.

Introduction

Research recognition commonly considers both the quality of scholarly work and evidence of its influence within an academic field. Bibliometric indicators can provide useful contextual evidence when evaluating publication activity and citation visibility, although such measures do not independently establish research quality or originality. [2] In this context, Francis Boadu’s documented research profile provides a basis for examining his academic activity and potential alignment with an innovation-oriented research award.

Research Profile

Francis Boadu’s academic profile is associated with Kumasi Technical University in Ghana and the Business subject area. The available Scopus record identifies 25 documents and reports 820 citations with an h-index of 14. These indicators suggest a research record that has achieved measurable scholarly visibility. Interpretation of the profile should nevertheless consider publication venues, authorship roles, research themes, methodological quality, and the substantive contribution of the underlying studies. [1]

Research Contributions

The documented publication and citation record provides evidence of research activity and academic dissemination in the Business domain. An assessment of contribution should distinguish quantitative visibility from substantive innovation by examining whether the research introduces useful concepts, methods, empirical findings, or applications. For an innovation-focused recognition, particular attention may be given to the originality and relevance of documented outputs and their potential contribution to professional or academic practice. [2]

Publications

The available profile records 25 documents indexed in Scopus. This publication count establishes a measurable body of scholarly output, while the citation total indicates that the indexed works have received academic references from subsequent publications. A complete publication-level evaluation would require examination of individual article titles, journals, publication types, co-authorship, citation contexts, and research findings. Accordingly, the document count is presented as a profile indicator rather than as an independent measure of research quality. [1]

Research Impact

With 820 reported citations and an h-index of 14, Boadu’s indexed research has demonstrable citation visibility. The h-index reflects the relationship between publication productivity and citation accumulation, but it should be interpreted alongside disciplinary norms, career stage, collaboration patterns, and publication history. [3] The available indicators therefore support consideration of scholarly impact while leaving qualitative assessment of individual research contributions to the award review process.

Award Suitability

The documented academic profile provides several relevant indicators for consideration for an Innovative Research Award. The combination of 25 indexed documents, 820 citations, and an h-index of 14 demonstrates an established scholarly record with measurable visibility. [1] However, award suitability should also incorporate evidence of originality, innovation, research significance, practical application, and the candidate’s specific intellectual contribution. On the available evidence, the profile provides a reasonable scholarly basis for consideration, subject to verification of the underlying research outputs and award criteria.

Conclusion

Francis Boadu’s documented academic profile at Kumasi Technical University presents a measurable record of research activity in the Business subject area. The reported Scopus indicators of 25 documents, 820 citations, and an h-index of 14 provide quantitative evidence of scholarly dissemination and citation impact. [1] These indicators support consideration for research recognition, while a final award decision should be based on verified publications, originality, methodological quality, innovation, and demonstrated significance of the candidate’s work.
