Dr. Dauren Botbayev earned a Bachelor of Technics and Technologies in Biotechnology and a Master of Natural Sciences from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where he also pursued his Ph.D. in Biotechnology. He completed advanced English training at the Intensive English Institute, University of California San Diego, and obtained a Master of Translational Biotechnology from the University of Southern California – Keck School of Medicine. He began his career at M.A. Aitkhozhin’s Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry as a Lab Assistant and progressed to Research Scientist and Senior Researcher. He also served as a Research Assistant at the University of Bologna in Italy. In academia, he joined Satbayev University’s School of Chemical and Biological Engineering as a Lecturer and later advanced to Senior Lecturer. His academic and research career reflects strong expertise in biotechnology, molecular biology, and translational research.

Dr. Pierre Constant Ntoutoume Nzoghe is a PhD candidate in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2020–2026) at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Rabat, Morocco, with prior degrees in Medicine Quality Control, Cellular and Molecular Biology, and a DEUG from Morocco, and a Baccalaureate (Series D) from Libreville. He currently serves as Quality Control Manager at Pharmaceutical Health, Libreville, and previously worked as an Analyst at Pharma5, specializing in physico-chemical (HPLC, IR, UV, Karl Fischer) and microbiological analyses. His experience includes internships in pharmacovigilance, biomedical laboratories, and industrial quality control across Morocco. His research focuses on adverse drug reactions, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, and pharmacovigilance case reporting at the University Hospital of Libreville. He has presented multiple posters and oral communications at national and international congresses, including ISOP and SMPV, with publications in official congress booklets. Prof. Ivelina Georgieva earned her MSc in Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry in 1989 and an MSc in Methods of Chemistry Teaching in 1994 from Sofia University, Bulgaria, followed by a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry in 2001 from the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, with a thesis on Pt(II) and Pd(II) complexes with antitumor properties. She served as Associate Professor in Theoretical Chemistry at IGIC–BAS from 2009 to 2021 and has been Professor since 2021. Since 2016, she has been Head of the Laboratory of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, and she previously served as Chair of the IGIC Colloquium (2012–2016) and Scientific Secretary (2017–2024). Her main research areas include theoretical and computational chemistry, molecular design, photochemistry, molecular and periodic structures, and functional materials. She has completed international specializations and collaborations in Spain, Austria, the Czech Republic, and China, working with leading scientists such as Prof. H. Lischka, Prof. A. Aquino, Prof. D. Tunega, and Prof. M. Sodupe. Her academic career reflects strong contributions to advanced computational studies and international scientific cooperation.

Prof. Dr. Jan Yperman is a distinguished Belgian chemist who earned his Bachelor (1971), Master (1973), and Doctorate (1981) in Chemistry and built a long academic career at LUC/UH, progressing from Ph.D. bursar to Ordinary Professor and later Emeritus in 2016. He served as Head of Department, Vice-Head, and Chairman of the UH Chemistry Curriculum and Examination Board, contributing significantly to academic leadership. He received the prestigious Stas Prize (1981) and a diploma from BAS-Bulgaria (2004), and has been a member of the international editorial board of FUEL since 2002. His research spans acid–base chemistry, coal and solid fuel analysis, superconductor precursor preparation, and analytical automation in chemistry laboratories. He is widely recognized for his extensive work on biomass valorisation, pyrolysis, activated carbons, adsorption technologies, and environmental remediation. Beyond academia, he also served as Alderman of the City of Hasselt from 1995 to 2001, reflecting his commitment to public service.
