He was awarded a Croucher Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Cambridge (1995-1997), then continued his research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Toronto (1997-1998) and later as a Postdoctoral Fellow at McMaster University (1998-2000).
