Following medical school, he specialized in orthopedic surgery through a residency at Baylor College of Medicine (1995-2000), refining his skills in musculoskeletal care. To further specialize, he completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Surgery Spine at Baylor College of Medicine (2000-2001), gaining advanced training in complex spinal procedures.
