His research experience includes working as a research assistant and investigator on the “Medicinal Fungi of Colonso Chalupas” project, which focused on the chemical profile, biological activity, and biotechnological applications, as well as studies in cyclic voltammetry for the evaluation of antioxidant agents and cytotoxicity in cancer cell lines, supported by a research grant. He has also strengthened his skills in Sustainable production, business models, marketing, financial education, and digital transformation are offered through the Rural Youth Entrepreneurship School. Alongside her COVID-19 scholarship, she is a leading figure in Mediterranean and Italian archaeology, bioarchaeology, and the study of marginality, personhood, disability, and crisis–collapse, integrating Big Data, aDNA, isotope analysis, and social theory. She has held prestigious fellowships including a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Ralegh Radford Rome Fellowship at the British School at Rome, and her research has been used as teaching material across medicine, archaeology, and the medical humanities. Prof. Dr. Bomi Gil obtained a bachelor’s degree from The Catholic University of Korea in 2012, received the Korea Medical Doctor’s License (No. 109090) the same year, completed a master’s certificate in 2017, and earned a doctoral degree in 2025 from The Catholic University of Korea. She trained as a Fellow at Bucheon St. Mary’s Hospital from 2017 to 2019, served as a Clinical Assistant Professor from 2019 to 2024, and has been an Assistant Professor at the same institution since 2025. Her research spans advanced thoracic and oncologic imaging, artificial intelligence applications in radiology, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer prognosis and immunotherapy response, pulmonary infections, vascular and airway anomalies, and quantitative CT biomarkers, with publications in leading journals including PLOS One, CHEST, Scientific Reports, Korean Journal of Radiology, Radiology: Cardiothoracic Imaging, and others. She has contributed seminal work on deep learning models for non-small cell lung cancer outcomes, CT-based morphologic and densitometric indices, contrast-enhanced neuroimaging for leptomeningeal metastasis, elastography in breast imaging, and GAN-based CT protocol harmonization. Her scholarly output reflects strong interdisciplinary integration of clinical radiology, data science, and translational imaging research.
